Students, please arrive fifteen minutes before your scheduled class.
The Songahm Spirit of Taekwondo
I will practice in the spirit of Taekwondo
with courtesy for fellow students
loyalty for my instructor
and respect for my juniors and seniors.
I shall live with perseverance in the spirit of Taekwondo
having honor with others
integrity within myself
and self-control in my actions.
Belts
| Songahm One | Belt Pure without knowledge of Songahm Taekwondo. |
| Songahm Two | The sun is beginning to rise. |
| Songahm Three | The seed is beginning to see the sunlight. |
| Songahm Four | The sapling is hidden amongst the taller pines and must now fight its way upwards. |
| Songahm Five | The pine tree is beginning to develop and grow in strength. |
| In Wha One | Coming to the mountain. The tree is mid-growth and now the path becomes steep creating a mountain that must be overcome. |
| In Wha Two | The tree reaches for the sky toward new heights. |
| Choong Jung One | The tree is firmly rooted in the earth. |
| Choong Jung Two | The sun is setting. The first phase of growth has been accomplished. |
| Choong Jung Two | The dawn of a new day. The sun breaks through the darkness. |
| Shim Jun | The tree has reached maturity and has overcome the darkness. |
